Biomass ( Burn) Pile

Drop off will be on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, SEPTEMBER 14 through Sunday, OCTOBER 20, weather permitting. Accepted Materials: Natural vegetation, shrubs, branches, limbs, pine needles, grasses, leaves The drop off area is divided into two piles one for mixed vegetation and the other for pine needles/grasses/leaves. Thank you for your assistance in sorting materials, which contributes to cost savings. Not Accepted: Stumps, treated wood, wood with nails, non-vegetation items, rocks, dirt, cement, construction debris and construction site clearing debris, trash, garbage, household waste, furniture, tires, recyclable items, metals, appliances, plastics, batteries, oil, vehicles, paint, solvents, anti-freeze, paint thinners, cleaning fluids, aerosol cans, pesticides, insecticides For more information, contact Alpine County Community Development at 530-694-2140.
