Position: Nurse

Lynette Bennett was born and raised in Redwood City, California. After high school she went to the College of San Mateo and got her degree in Nursing. She began working at the Veteran’s Hospital in 1976 remaining there until 1993. After that she worked at San Jose Medical Group as a Float RN working in the various clinics from Urgent Care to Infectious Disease. In 1997 a path of Case Management in the Utilization Review Department with Lifeguard HMO began . In 1999 moving to Gardnerville, Nevada she started with Alpine County working two days a week as the Outreach RN.

By October 2000, she was working full time in the clinic and taking on more responsibilities including Emergency Preparedness , HIV Testing and Counseling and the school nurse. Assisting Dr. Harvey in the clinic two days a week giving vaccinations to children and adults are her specialty.

She has 2 grown children both live in the Bay Area. She enjoys going to various shows and concerts on the weekends up in Reno, Nevada. She likes to dress up on Halloween and is noted for having many different shoe styles according to the season.
