About
The Planning Department is located at the Turtle Rock Park community building, approximately two miles north of Markleeville.
The Planning Department performs the following services:
- Provides staff support to both the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors, helping them plan for growth by advising them on important issues in relation to land use decisions
- Leads the preparation, periodic review, and revision of the county general plan
- Provides information on land development, then reviews and makes recommendations on land development applications.
