Planning: GIS data

The Alpine County Planning Department maintains the Alpine County Geographic Information System (GIS). The GIS includes parcel data and assessor data base information, as well as additional layers of geographic information such as general plan land use designations, zoning districts and environmental information. This GIS is not currently accessible on the web. GIS data can be licensed for purchase through the Planning Department. Most, if not all of the files available for download are in PDF format and you need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them. It can be downloaded free from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html
