The Probation Department's office is located on the upper level of the County Courthouse, at 14777 State Route 89 in Markleeville.

The Probation Department provides the following services:

• Adult and Juvenile intake, court and supervision
• Adult and Juvenile Community Service programs
• Superior Court investigation
