About

Turtle Rock Park Campground has a combination of 26 RV or trailer sites, two of which are handicap accessible. There are also 12 tent sites. The Picnic/Day Use Area has a handicap accessible site.  The campground is open seasonally, approximately May through early October.

Recreational vehicle information: ALL vehicles must park on the paved pad at the site.  Water faucets are located at various sites, no other hook-ups are available.  There is no dump station.

Amenities: The park offers flush toilets and a handicap coin-op shower.  Also available for use on the property are a tennis court, basketball court, disc golf course, and horseshoe pit.

No Reservations: first come, first served.

Turtle Rock Park Campground closed on Sunday, October 4, 2009.

PLEASE NOTE: During extreme fire conditions, fires are not permitted in the campground.  At those times, outdoor cooking is allowed on gas/propane powered devices only.

* Seasonal Camping shall only be allowed as follows:

1. The total number of camping spaces for seasonal use shall not exceed five, not including two spaces occupied by the camp host and back up host. The allocation of seasonal camping spaces shall be determined by the Public Works Department.

2. Seasonal camping is allowed on a month to month basis, subject to approval of a rental agreement to be provided by the Public Works Department and full payment of applicable camping fees to the Public Works Department in advance of occupying the camp site.

3. Seasonal camping is limited to recreational vehicles equipped with an integral waste water holding tank. This tank must be periodically emptied at an approved RV waste water disposal facility.
