List of LOCAL Candidates 
as of August 13, 2014.

NOTICE of Examination Period for the Candidate Statements of Qualification August 14-25, 2014.
The deadline for filing a Writ of Mandate is August 25, 2014.

Randomized ALPHABET Drawing
 conducted by the Secretary of State on August 14, 2014.  
The official order of letters for use in determining placement of candidates' names on the ballot.

Write-In Candidate September 8, 2014 to October 21, 2014: 
Every person who desires to be a write-in candidate and have his/her name written on the ballot of an election counted for a particular office shall file a statement of write in candidacy.  Forms are available in the Clerk's Office.
