Bookmobile Service Temporarily Suspended During Covid-19 Restrictions

Please join me in thanking our new Volunteer Driver--Jan Crow!  Stop by one of the Bookmobile locations on Wednesday to meet her in person--you'll be glad you did!

The Bookmobile provides service on Wednesdays to the following East-slope areas: 
Sierra Pines, Hung-a-lel-ti, Woodfords Station and Kirkwood General Store/Real Estate offices. 

Library services on the Bookmobile include:

  • Library card registration
  • Check out books; magazines; music CDs audio CDs; and movies
  • Pick up point for returned library materials
  • Delivery & return of Inter Library Loan materials
  • Distribution of Community information

9:30 a.m. - 10 a.m.   Sierra Pines
10:15 a.m. - 10:45 a.m          Woodfords Indian Education Center (Hung-a-lel-ti Community)
11 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  Mad Dog Cafe ( Woodfords General Store)
12:15 p.m. - 1 p.m.  Kirkwood Mountain (Realty Office, General        Store, KHA)

Fridays    Currently Unavailable
Time Location
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. N/A   Diamond Valley School

*Schedules may change due to inclement weather and road construction.  If we need to cancel service, we will make every effort to notify a contact at each Bookmobile stop.  If you are unsure, please call  the Library to confirm service is running.

Book Returns
For your convenience book returns are located at the Mad Dog Café (Woodfords General Store), Sierra Pines  (Alpine Café) and at the Woodfords Indian Education Center (WIEC) at the Hung-a-lel-ti Community.
