Alpine County Archives 


The Archives serves as the repository for the county's permanent governmental records as well as other materials documenting Alpine County history. The collection consists of leather-bound ledgers, maps, paper documents, microfilm, and other records from the time of the organization of the county in 1864 to the present. Thanks to the support of the Alpine County Board of Supervisors and County Clerk/Records Manager Barbara Howard the Archives collection has been cataloged into PastPerfect, a comprehensive searchable database. 

Research at the Alpine County Archives is by appointment only.
