2025 Regional Transportation Plan
The purpose of the Regional Transportation Plan is to provide a vision for the transportation network in the region, supported by transportation goals, for ten-year (2025-2035) and twenty-year (2025-2044) planning horizons. The RTP documents the policy direction, actions, and funding strategies designed to maintain and improve the regional transportation system.

Markleeville Community Transportation Plan
In 2023, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) awarded a Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant to Alpine County for the preparation of the Markleeville Community Transportation Plan. The Plan will explore improvements in the community by studying existing multi-modal transportation challenges and will create a realistic, fundable, and implementable Community Transportation Plan for Markleeville, California.
Fehr and Peers, is the transportation planning consultant assisting the county with preparation of the plan. Work began in 2024 and is anticipated to be completed by June 30, 2025.
