Please join us in thanking our Volunteer Driver, Jan Crow, who supports our community bookmobile every Wednesday! Stop by one of the Bookmobile locations on Wednesday to meet her in person and explore our offerings!


Available Bookmobile Services

The Bookmobile provides service on Wednesdays to the following East-slope areas: Sierra Pines, Hung-a-lel-ti*, the Mad Dog Cafe and Kirkwood General Store/Real Estate offices. Library services on the Bookmobile include:

  • Library card registration 
  • Check out books, magazines, music CDs, audio books, and movies
  • Pick up point for returned library materials
  • Delivery of requested items
  • Distribution of Community information

*Service to Hung-a-lel-ti is temporarily paused.  

Search our LIBRARY CATALOG for available titles and call ahead (530) 694-2120 or send us an email to have your requests delivered by our Bookmobile Driver! You can also find updates on our Facebook page

Book Returns
For your convenience book returns are located at the Mad Dog Café (Woodfords General Store) and at the Woodfords Indian Education Center (WIEC) at the Hung-a-lel-ti Community.
