AMENDING ALPINE COUNTY CODE CHAPTER 8.20 TO ADOPT THE 2023 FIRE HAZARD SEVERITY ZONE MAP AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN ALPINE COUNTY AS MODERATE, HIGH, OR VERY HIGH WILDFIRE HAZARD SEVERITY ZONES
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held at or about10:00 a.m. on December 3, 2024,by the Alpine County Board of Supervisors, at the Alpine County Government Center, 99 Water Street,Markleeville, California to amend Alpine County Code Chapter 8.20 to adopt the 2023 Fire Hazard Severity Zones Map including the Moderate,High, and Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones,as designated by the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
The public hearing will be held during the regular meeting of the Alpine County Board of Supervisors on December 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, at the Alpine County Government Center, Board Chambers,99 Water St, Markleeville, California.
